Ms. Alden is a 1996 graduate of Elms College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. Ms. Alden received the degree of Juris Doctor from Western New England College School of Law in 2001.

Professional Experience:

After completing law school, Ms. Alden was associated with the law firm of Libert & Associates in Simsbury, Connecticut, where she specialized in U.S. and foreign patent application preparation and prosecution, trademark and copyright registration practice, intellectual property licensing, and intellectual property validity and infringement matters. In 2003, Ms. Alden left Libert & Associates to pursue private practice in South Windsor, Connecticut.

Patent Technology Experience:

Ms. Alden's patent experience includes the areas of non-electric detonation of explosives, initiation devices for explosives, shock tube and its manufacture, medical equipment, catalytic purification of automotive and other exhaust gases and various consumer products. Ms. Alden is a co-inventor of the subject matter of U.S. Patent 5,900,345, U.S. Patent 6,458,503 and U.S. Patent 6,638,679.
